Dress Rehearsal

I held a dress rehearsal for the Breathing the Joy of Life Workshop at a local venue, with a few guests to provide feedback and constructive criticism for the Workshop contents and my presentation. The feedback was extremely positive, with people liking the content, the pacing, the music, and my dancing. Several suggestions for improvements have been incorporated into the Workshop contents, resulting in an even-better presentation. I am excited to bring this Workshop to cities along the Oregon Coast during September and October. The Newport date and venue have been secured, and you will find additional venues on the Workshop Schedule, which will be the top item on this page. Thank you all for your support and encouragement as I share my Joy of Life with others in an entertaining and uplifting presentation. Hope you can join me!

Hello!

I am excited to update you all on my upcoming new FREE workshop tour, titled Breathing the Joy of Life! The workshop is open to everyone, and will not specifically address the topic of child abuse.

The tour will start in Lincoln City, Oregon, and visit cities up and down the Oregon Coast, starting in September and running through October, 2018.

The tour may be expanded, depending on interest.

Breathing the Joy of Life Workshop Outline

Megan Erin Galloway, author of Pieces: Help for Your Life Journey, will be presenting a free 2-hour Breathing the Joy of Life Workshop as an entertaining way to approach the serious topics of:

·       Gaining self-respect and self-love

·       Feeling worthy of being happy

·       Reclaiming your own power to be happy (and not be dependent on others for your happiness)

·       No longer waiting for a future event so you can then be happy

·       Recognizing the importance of, and applying, forgiveness and releasing the past, in order to free yourself to create your own brighter future

Megan will be a peer guide in this workshop, helping people recognize that happiness and wellness are within their reach. She will emphasize that hope and help are available to everyone.

Lincoln City will be the start of an Oregon Coast tour of workshops through September and October 2018.  Please join Megan for an inspirational lift to your life. Light refreshments will be provided; no registration is required.

Some Details:

Your life journey thus far includes all the experiences of your past– the happiness and heartbreaks, the good times and bad times, your childhood and everything you have seen, done, didn’t do, believed, and lived, up to this very moment. However, your past is NOT a predictor of your future, unless you want it to be. Right now, at this moment, you are creating your future. Will it consist of the same days you have been living for the past decade? It doesn’t have to, if you are able to change your thinking and some of your beliefs.

You get what you focus on. If you focus on the same things every day, you get the same day every day. Facing “reality” is like playing the same movie over and over because you think that is the only movie you have. Are you ready to try something different? What do you have to lose? Just try it for a bit. If you don’t like it, you can always go back to your life the way it was.

You will be introduced to a different way of breathing and decision-making that will help you weather the storms of life.  You will come to understand that you have, within you, everything you need to be happy and to live a life of joy.

There are Four Major Blocks to Joy:

1.      Unworthiness

2.      Powerlessness

3.      Jealousy/Envy

4.      Regrets/Anger/Fear

Each of these Blocks will be examined, and turned into Building Blocks to Breathing the Joy of Life.
